How to Get Your True Sidereal Human Design Chart Free
Most Human Design charts on the internet are wrong.
Not slightly off. Not approximately correct. Wrong by approximately 23 to 24 degrees — the equivalent of six I Ching gates, roughly 34 days of planetary movement. The chart you may have been reading was calculated from a position the planets hadn't reached yet at the moment you were born.
This is the difference between the tropical zodiac — a symbolic system frozen in time 2,000 years ago — and True Sidereal Human Design, which uses the actual sky above you at your actual birth moment.
Your body responded to the real sky. Your chart should reflect it.
What You Need
To generate your True Sidereal Human Design chart you need a Genetic Matrix Pro Account. Genetic Matrix is the only Human Design charting software that allows the specific sidereal settings required for an accurate True Sidereal calculation. The free version does not include these settings. The Pro Account does.

Step by Step: Configure Your True Sidereal Chart
These steps take approximately two minutes once you are logged in to your Genetic Matrix Pro Account.
Step 1 — Log in and go to Settings
Log in to your Genetic Matrix Pro Account. Navigate to the main Settings area from your dashboard.
Box 4 — Astro HD Sidereal Settings
Locate the Astro HD Sidereal Settings section. This box has several fields — set them as follows:
- Ayanamsha — scroll to the bottom of the list and select: User Defined SVP
- Fixed Sidereal Vernal Point — enter exactly: 31.74
- Yearly Incremental Sidereal Vernal Point — set to: 0
- Reference Year — set to: 2000
Leave all other fields in this box exactly as they are.
Box 1 — Astrology System Settings
Locate the section titled Astrology System Settings.
Make sure 13 Sign Sidereal is selected — it will be highlighted with a red indicator when active.
Make sure Hybrid Calculation is turned OFF. The toggle should not be active. Hybrid includes tropical-derived Human Design elements within sidereal methods — this is not what we want. We want pure sidereal calculation.
Click Update to save this box before moving on.
Step 5 — Save
Once all four boxes are correctly configured click the Update or Save button to apply all changes.
Your chart will now recalculate using actual astronomical positions.
Box 2 — Astro HD House Setting
Find the Astro HD House Setting option. Select: Equal
Box 3 — Global Time Zone Settings
Find the Global Time Zone Settings section.
Set the default time zone to: Universal Coordinated Time (UTC)
Important Note
These settings will bring your Genetic Matrix chart as close as possible to a True Sidereal Human Design chart. For most people it will be very close and highly accurate. It may not be an exact replica of the calculation I use in professional readings — professional readings include additional bodies
such as Lilith and Chiron which Genetic Matrix handles differently.
If your type, authority or profile looks different from what you were told in a tropical reading — that difference is real. Your body was always responding to the real sky. Now your chart is too.
What to Do With Your Chart
Once your True Sidereal chart is generated you may notice differences from your tropical chart. Some people see significant changes. Others see subtle shifts. Either way what you are looking at now is mechanically correct.

Ra Uru Hu — the founder of Human Design — used tropical coordinates. Every certified Human Design analyst trained under his system uses tropical coordinates. Every free chart generator you find through a standard Google search uses tropical coordinates.
Tropical coordinates are 23 to 24 degrees off from the actual sky. Six gates forward on the I Ching wheel. Approximately 34 days into a future that hadn't happened yet at your birth.

The settings above generate the chart your body was actually born with — calculated from the real positions of the real planets in the real sky at your real birth moment.
