The Truth: The Body is Your Priority
The "howler monkey" (your Not-Self Mind) wants you to obsess over your Personality and your "Motivation." But Ra Uru Hu's own advanced PHS Analyst books state the exact opposite:
The Body is the priority, not the mind. You can never heal your mind or silence the monkey until your vehicle is correct. And your vehicle can never be correct if you are using the wrong (tropical) chart.
My Body Knew the Truth 11 Years Before I Did
This is my (Jillian's) story. For years, I followed the "lie" of the tropical chart. It told me I was Color 6: Indirect Light. I obediently ate at night, went to bed on a full stomach, and gained 40 lbs. My body was sick because I was feeding it a "lie".
My True Sidereal chart shows my Determination is Color 4: Calm. My body doesn't care about light; it cares about the atmosphere.

The "Monkey's" Two Great Traps
For every Determination, the "monkey" has two traps to keep you from your truth.

Monkey Trap 1: The "Opposite" Lie This is the "lie" taught by most of the Human Design world (like the image you saw). The monkey tells you to do the exact opposite of your correct Determination. It tells a "Calm" person that "Nervous" is a valid "type," or a "Consecutive" person to be "Alternating."

Monkey Trap 2: The "Distraction" (Transference) This is the real "monkey trap" from the advanced PHS books. The monkey makes you obsess over the wrong problem by "transferring" your focus to its harmonic Color (1 transfers to 4, 2 to 5, 3 to 6).
The 6 True Determinations (Monkey-Proofed)
Color 1: Appetite (Consecutive)

The Truth: Your body has a "primitive" digestive system and is "Internal". You must eat Consecutively.

The Simple Rule: Eat one food at a time. Finish your potatoes before you start your meat. Do not mix them in one bite.

The "Lie" (False Opposite): The monkey tells you to be "Alternating," mixing all your foods together. This is the opposite of your design.

Color 2: Taste (Selective)

The Truth: Your body is highly "selective" and "Internal". It knows what it wants. This is the "picky eater" Determination.

The Simple Rule: You must be "Selective" (or "Closed") to what your body doesn't want. If you force yourself to eat something, your body will not digest it properly.

The "Lie" (False Opposite): The monkey tells you to be "Open"—to eat what you're served to be polite or to "try everything." This is poison to your system.

The "Distraction" (Transference): The monkey "tricks" you into obsessing over the "External" environment. It makes you worry that the "Sound" is wrong (Color 5) when the real problem is that you are eating food you don't want.
Color 3: Thirst (Temperature)

The Truth:Your body is "Internal" and its digestion is governed by Temperature. Your body isn't designed to just "eat food"; it's designed to process food at a specific, fixed internal temperature.

The Simple Rule: Your True Sidereal chart shows you are either a "Hot" type (your body needs to raise its temperature to digest) or a "Cold" type (your body needs to lower its temperature to digest).
